We come across Timon and Pumbaa living their daily lives as care free animals, but they see what looks to them like a furry bird at first. They get a closer look and relize its a lion. It just so happens that this lion is baby Simba. Timon gets scared thinking that Simba is going to to eat him. Pumbaa dosent get afriad and comes up with this idea to get Simba and raise it as their own. Timbon then agrees and continues with their plan.
