After getting out of a truck, Gnocchi, Hundley, Steve, and George have to find their way back to their home. They must use their senses and remember their surroundings in order to help them get back to the right part of the city.

Terra explained the horrible things she has done. She talks about serving a dark master called Slade. She committed many crimes in his name. She accomplished all this by betraying the Titans. She did not regret bringing the whole city to it's knees.

A barn owl chases its prey, a mouse, around a ranch. The narrator describes the ecological advantages of the barn owl in hunting its prey and how it has adapted to its surroundings in order to be a dangerous predator. However, the mouse also makes use of its size and ability to fit in small areas, eventually managing to escape the owl.

Mann explains that machines would not be able to complete the mission, because they do not possess the same survival instincts as humans making them less effective.

As food supplies run low, the main characters along with their Digimon, use their environment to survive.
