George has to look after a pair of keys for their boat. The key ends up falling into a lake where an otter takes it. George figures out that a way to get the key back is by communicating and trading with the otter. He ends up trading a nice red ball for the keys back.
After seeing Professor Wiseman's hobby for clocks, George tries to make the clock ring and breaks the hour hand. Using his knowledge of clocks and some extra help, he is able to fix it.
George's friend just got some new chickens. However they're having trouble laying eggs due to the noise outside. George has to find a way to keep the sound out for the chickens.
