Fred encounters Arnold, the paperboy, and pays him for the daily newspaper. Fred is dissatisfied with the newspaper as of late and tells Arnold he'd like to cancel his subscription. Arnold convinces Fred to stay a customer by changing his weekday and weekend rates. Fred agrees, but Barney mentions that Fred is actually paying more per week than before with the "special" rate.
