Francois visits the cell that Nelson Mandela was in when he was incarcerated. When he enters the cell, the words of William Ernest Henley's poem, Invictus, echo through his mind while he visualizes the misfortune of others at the time.
Mr. Tolson recites "I, Too" from Langston Hughes and a poem from Gwendolyn Bennett to set the scene for introducing new voices of a revolution in Harlem.
