The Sumerians lost in war to Elimights which they gave weight to the Assyrians. They became the head of ancient Mesopotamia and had a feared army. Assyrians were well known for their power. Hammurabi is introduced, who was a powerful king known for the code of hammurabi and someone who well knew how to consolidate power. He then takes over.
