A couple gets married during the Cultural Revolution in China. They begin the ceremony by paying respect to their communist leader, Mao Zedong. Afterwards, they sing a song in which they share their experience living under Mao's leadership. The song is laced with strong communist ideals, demonstrating the influence that the regime had on the people of China.

The Wei kingdom has a larger population and is more difficult to govern and susceptible to more disorder as a result. Confucius advocates for educating the populace to improve the moral climate. Then Duke Ling of Wei asks Confucius to support their military, and Confucius declines the offer.

This clip illustrates how the Yan kingdom attempted to assassinate emperor Qin Shi Huang. After the failed attempt, Qin Huang accelerated the war efforts and conquered all of the neighboring kingdoms within the next decade to achieve his dream of creating an empire.
