    To support cross-cutting concepts of Structure and Function that correlate with NGSS standards MS-PS4-2 and connect to DCI, MS-PS4-B. Great way to show how light/EM waves interact with matter and depending on the structure and function of that matter/substance is how those waves will behave; resulting in what we see (whatever part of the visible light spectrum is reflected back into our eyes)
