Beakman explains what an explosion is by using popcorn popping as an example with an animation clip. He then goes on to do a DIY demo by putting a fizz tablet in a small container of water with a lid on it and watching it explode. He then goes on to explain the science behind this explosion verbally.
Jenny Adler explains the benefits and advancements in Photography that can support the ecosystem. She discusses how this method can help visually express concerns for the environment.
Beakman explains how airplanes fly due to the shape of the wings. He demos this by having two toy airplanes (one with wings and one without) to show that the wings are required. To demonstrate air pressure and imbalance, he holds a piece of paper and blows over it to show that the paper will lift to correct for the imbalance in air pressure. Beakman uses an animated clip to explain how the shape of the airplane wing causes this air pressure imbalance and creates lift.
