During the Piston Cup tiebreaker race, Lightning McQueen sacrifices his win in the race after he sees the King crash, and ends up pushing the King to the finish line to help him finish the race. By doing this, McQueen allows Chick Hicks, who caused King to crash, win the race. Despite winning, Chick Hicks is booed for cheating, while McQueen is considered the real winner for helping the King.

Mickey watches a game of basketball full of cheating and bad sportsmanship. Mickey provides examples of both good and bad sportsmanship, and how good sportsmanship is rewarding, as opposed to bad sportsmanship.

Brian and Buster never agree on movies. They decide to watch the same movie and see which review changes their friends' minds. When their friends do not seem swayed by either of their movie reviews, they realize they have to respect each others' opinions.

Billy and Grim "bake" a cake for Mandy's surprise birthday party.

Nergel returns, much to Grim, Mandy, and Billy's detest. Billy feels sorry for him after Nergel tells the group that all he's ever wanted was a friend. Thus, Billy introduces him to the five-C's of friendship to help him learn how to make friends.
