Robert Kearns and his wife Phyllis meet with the distinguished attorney Mr. Lawson to discuss their case against Ford Motor Company. Robert claims that Ford stole his invention and is taking Ford to court. Mr. Lawson tells Robert that Ford offered him $250,000 to settle the case, but they will not recognize Robert's invention if he accepts the offer. Robert has to make a decision as to how to proceed.
Toph recently joined the team, and Katara informs her of how the team collaborates when they set up camp. Toph has a different perspective on her involvement in the team, and the two have an argument. Toph believes she only needs to take care of her own belongings, while Katara believes everyone should play a part in setting up camp.
