A kitten chases a ball out of Mickey Mouse's house and gets into a dangerous situation. Pluto the dog (the ego), who was kicked out of the house, debates whether or not to save the kitten. His shoulder angel (the superego) and devil (the id) heavily influence his decision, and ultimately, his actions.
