What is Impressionism? Where and how did it start? How was it receive in the art world of the past? When impressionist paintings are presented in museums today and sold for millions at action, no one questions their legitimacy as work of art worthy of attention and esteem. But when they were first exhibited in Paris in 1874, they were regarded as unfinished. Today we take a close look at what Impressionism is and how it has evolved.
