Voting is important because you get to choose which issues you believe in and represent yourself among the US population.

Political Campaigns are ways candidates can get across their policies and issues through social media, print, tv or by speaking to large groups of people.

Voter turnout is the amount of elegible people who can vote who actually do go and vote. For the 2016 election only 58% of people who were elegible (18 years and older and a citizen) actually voted which is less than other developed countries in the world.
