Peabody's Improbable History: Surrender of Cornwallis
00:00:30 - 00:04:52

Peabody and Sherman visit America near the end of the Revolutionary War. They find out that Cornwallis cannot surrender because he lost his sword, so they help him find it. This is a comical take on the events that transpired on October 19, 1781, when British General Charles Cornwallis formally surrendered 8,000 British soldiers and seamen to a French and American force at Yorktown, Virginia. Cornwallis' surrender brought the American Revolution to a close.
