After spending time with the Crystal Gems, Peridot betrays their trust and calls Yellow Diamond, one of the main leaders from their homeworld, about the status of a military mission that can destroy the Earth. Peridot tries to convince Yellow Diamond not to eliminate the planet, but realizes that Yellow Diamond's opinion can not be changed and tries to fix her mistake.
