While trying to catch Jerry, Tom keeps running afoul of an angry conductor. Jerry then climbs up the conductor's tuxedo and causes him to start frantically gyrating and to misconduct the orchestra into playing a jazzy rendition of the overture.

At a church, the priest baptizes a baby while members of the mafia get into position.

When they learn that Beethoven has given up on composing music and has moved on to cooking, they try to spark his inspiration by putting him in situations that relate to his symphonies. Beethoven was a crucial figure in the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras in Western art music and remains one of the most famous and influential composers of all time.
