The Titans motivate and encourage Cyborg while he pushes his limits. Cyborg does not believe in his self and wanted to give up. Cyborg is upset with the Titans for pushing him too hard.

Dre talks to Rainbow and insists that she should have taken his last name when they got married. Rainbow cites that doing so would go against her feminist ideals because it enforces that women and men are not equal, which she clarifies is the view held by feminists. By reverting to old tradition, Rainbow fears that she would do a disservice to herself and all the women who came before her that made strides to bolster future generations of women.

Andy meets his match when his new love interest decides to join the ski shooting competition. After he doubts her ability, she sets him straight.

Dr. Larabee encourages Akeelah to think of what she wants for herself out of life then directs her to a quote from Marianne Williamson. Akeelah realizes that she is not suppose to be afraid of herself.

Mr. Simonet gives his students a year-long assignment: "Think of an idea to change our world - and put it into ACTION!" He creates this assignment to prove to his students that, despite their age and current situation, they can indeed change the world. Mr. Simonet inspires his students by suggesting that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
