The team deciphers the remainder of the coded message, giving them the location of the THABTO's meeting. They discover the time by having Ghostwriter speedread the Double Defenders books.

After masquerading as Calvin from The Party Animal store during a phone call with Dan, the team discovers that THABTO is a team of four people.

Gertie spends some time with E.T. and teaches him a few English words and dresses him up in a funny outfit. E.T. then becomes slightly more proficient in English and repeats the words, "phone" and "home," several times while point towards the sky. Although E.T. does not explicitly tell us his desires, we can understand through his verbal language that he wants to get in contact with his home planet.

Sully and Mike take Boo to work so they can put her back in her door. When they enter the office, they are surprised to see the Child Detection Agency there. Based on the events that take place in this clip, we can determine the meaning of vocabulary words such as "obscure," and infer the reason that Sully and Mike are hiding Boo.

Scooby Doo and the gang split up and search for clues on the theater stage. During their search, the Phantom Puppeteer tries to drop different objects on Shaggy and Velma. This clip gives hints as to intention of the Phantom Puppeteer and the perilous nature of the theater in which the gang is situated, despite the Puppeteer not talking at all.
