Lucy starts writing a novel about Ethel, Fred, and Ricky. She reads an excerpt that describes Ricky's journey to the United States from Cuba. After Ricky points out the inaccuracies, Lucy states that writers twist the truth in order to make their work more exciting. Everyone tries to read the novel to see what Lucy wrote about them, but she stops them since she is not yet ready to share it.

Chandler and Rachel receive two cheesecakes that should've been addressed to their neighbor. They decide to eat them because they just can't reject them.

When Phoebe states that she doesn't believe in evolution, Ross tries to convince her that it is a fact through examples and scientific proof. Phoebe offers a counterargument using several examples in history when the brightest minds believed in a theory but found it to be incorrect.

Sheldon apologizes to Emily and asks for her forgiveness.
