John Adams reads several provisions from the Alien and Sedition Acts and appears concerned at their content. As he reads the provisions aloud, members of the cabinet make an explanation to justify their presence. They claim that the House and Senate feel these acts are necessary for the security of the nation.
V takes over the national television stations and broadcasts his message to the public that there is a need for a revolution. He highlights the cruelty and injustice in the country, the robbing of the public's common sense, and the government's ask for the public's silent obedience in exchange for peace and security.
The Griswold family takes the security guard of Wally World, Lasky, hostage and makes him take them on all of the roller coaster rides. Before the ride starts, Lasky warns Rusty that he didn't have a positive experience with the ride in the past. Throughout the entire ride, Lasky appears to be nervous and sick to his stomach.
