Tara bullies Chrissa by bumping into her, then sticking her with a pen when no one else is watching. Chrissa is upset, and ends up going to the bathroom to inspect the damage. While in there, Tara takes the envelope she was supposed to bring to the office and does it herself to embarrass Chrissa.
Chrissa's grandmother explains that, like people, llamas are social animals that need to have a best friend. This is why Chrissa's family bought two. Then, she explains to Chrissa that the best way she can make a new best friend is to find someone in need one.
Mrs. Rundell talks to Chrissa about the news that she quit the swim team while Chrissa is working on a project. Mrs. Rundell suspects that Chrissa is being bullied and mentions that bullies pick on others to make themselves feel better. She tells Chrissa that it's okay to ask for help and suggests she speaks to an adult that she trusts.
