The Accountant: The Clinic Scene
Chris' parents take him to see a doctor because they are perplexed by his behavior. The doctor educates the parents by providing reasons for Chris' anomalous behavior and explaining how Chris' actions are self-stimulating. The doctor suggests that they leave their son with him over the summer so the team can nurture him in a sensory-friendly environment. Chris' father immediately rejects the proposition and believes his son will overcome those fears and develop more regular behavior by hyperexposure to environmental noise that causes him distress.
